	Train and encourage members and public applicants in safe firarms use and to encourage and facilitate participation in the shooting sports. We do this by: Providing two safe, well lit indoor firing ranges with ten and six shooting ports respectively, sponsoring teams competing in Greater Boston Pistol League, sponsoring team competition in Eastern Massachusetts High Power Rifle competition, and conducting:CMP based Junior Rifle program for teens which runs during the school year; National Rifle Association and Massachusetts State Police sanctioned Basic Pistol Course six to eight five week sessions during the fall, winter and spring; metallic cartridge reloading classes; informal shooting competition in Steel, Bowling Pins, IDPA and PPC styles and lastly, a family oriented Turkey Shoot where closely supervised children and adults shoot a target rifle at a lucky target with winners receiving a gift certificate as prize.
