What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? MEDIAPOLIS COMMUNITY HOUSING, INC. IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION INCORPORATED UNDER THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF IOWA FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING A 16 UNIT ELDERLY HOUSING PROJECT KNOWN AS MEDIAPOLIS ELDERLY HOUSING (THE ELDERLY HOUSING) LOCATED IN MEDIAPOLIS, IOWA AND AN 8 UNIT FAMILY HOUSING PROJECT KNOWN AS MEDIAPOLIS FAMILY HOUSING(THE FAMILY HOUSING). THE PROJECTS WERE FINANCED AND CONSTRUCTED UNDER U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE (USDA), RURAL DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS. UNDER THE PROGRAM, MEDIAPOLIS COMMUNITY HOUSING, INC. PROVIDES HOUSING TO THE LOW AND MODERATE-INCOME ELDERLY AND FAMILIES, SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS BY USDA AS TO RENTAL CHARGES AND OPERATING METHODS. LOWER RENTAL CHARGES TO TENANTS ARE RECOVERED BY MEDIAPOLIS COMMUNITY HOUSING, INC. THROUGH RENTAL SUBSIDIES PROVIDED BY USDA.
