What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? THE COWBOY STATES REINING ASSOCIATION IS AN AMATEUR ATHLETIC ORGANIZATION WITH THE PURPOSE OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND RECOGNITION OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF ITS MEMBERS, TOGETHER WITH EDUCATION AND ENTERTAINMENT OF THE PUBLIC WITH RESPECT TO THE TRAINING AND SHOWING OF REINING HORSES. THE ASSOCIATION HOLDS REINING HORSE CLINICS FOR ITS MEMBERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND CONDUCTS SHOWS FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN COMPETING. THE SHOWS AND COMPETITIONS OCCUR AT VARIOUS TIMES DURING THE YEAR AND AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS.
