What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? COLORADO PUBLIC HEALTH ASSOCIATION (CPHA) OPERATES TO ENHANCE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUES IN COLORADO, BY HOLDING MEETINGS AND DISSEMINATING INFORMATION BETWEEN AND AMONG ITS MEMBERS AND THE PUBLIC. ITS MEMBERS ARE INDIVIDUALS AND ENTITIES WITH AN INTEREST IN PUBLIC HEALTH AND THOSE RESPONSIBLE FOR PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUES IN LOCAL JURISDICTIONS THROUGHOUT COLORADO. CPHA MEMBERS INCLUDE INTERESTED PERSONS, NURSES, ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SPECIALISTS, HEALTH EDUCATORS, PHYSICIAN AND ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONALS FROM HEALTH DEPARTMENTS OF LOCAL AND STATE GOVERNMENTS, HOSPITALS, COMMUNITY CLINICS, UNIVERSITIES, NON-PROFIT AGENCIES, HEALTH RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS AND INSURANCE COMPANIES.
