	Advocacy and Organizing - through our statewide organizing work, we were part of the successful campaign to win legislative approval for same sex marriage rights in the state of Minnesota. We developed Safe Schools Community Action Trainings - held in Minneapolis, St. Paul, Grand Rapids and Duluth, trained Planned Parenthood Teen Council Youth, provided two leader-led campus workshops at MN Out Campus Conference, held Safe Schools community events in Forest Lake, Eagan, Rochester, Faribault, and launched Youth Teams in Duluth, Minneapolis and Grand Rapids. We sponsored a Lobby Day at the Minnesota Capital which 1,000 people attended including two buses from Duluth and one each from Brainerd, Rochester, and Red Wing. During Lobby Day, attendees met with more than 100 legislators, including 86 meetings with legislators outside the metro area. Lobby Day was staffed with 157 volunteers, including 54 trained lobby coaches.
