Part X : FIN48 Footnote The University Club of Seattle is exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(7), except to the extent the Club has net income, as defined under Code Section 512, from business unrelated to the purpose on which the Club's exemption is based and investment income. Income tax expense for the years ended December 31, 2013 and 2012 is $566 and $1,258, respectively, all related to investment income.The Club's Forms 990 and 990T, U.S. Exempt Organization Income Tax Returns, for the years ending December 31, 2012, 2011 and 2010 are subject to examination by the Internal Revenue Service, generally for three years after they were filed.
