Form 990, Part VI, Line 11b: Form 990 Review Process Compiled from information submitted by each of the four subordinate local chapters tothe state organization, the group informational return (Form 990) is reviewed by the state organization's accounting staff, executive director and executive committee and officers of the four local chapters before it is filed.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 15a: Compensation Review & Approval Process - CEO, Top Management Local chapters are managed entirely by volunteers who receive no compensation.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 19: Other Organization Documents Publicly Available State association retains exact copies of group information returns filed on behalf of the four local chapters and makes them available for public inspection without charge during regular business hours at the state association's permanent office. Upon request, photocopy of the information returns will be provided for a reasonable charge. Local chapter governing documents, including bylaws and articles of incorporation, are retained at state association office and made available upon request for review.
SCHEDULE O This group return is being filed on behalf of the four subordinate local chapters that have authorized in writing to be included in a group return. The group exemption number is 5664. The employer identification number for each of the local chapters are as follows: AIA Northwest Wisconsin 61-1577512; AIA Northeast Wisconsin 61-1577513; AIA Southwest Wisconsin Inc 27-0336814; AIA Milwaukee Inc 61-1577509. Part VI Section A Line 6: As a professional trade association, the organization is comprised of individual member architects and allied design professionals.Part VI Section A Line 7a: In accordance with chapter bylaws, officers and directors of each chapter's governing body [board of directors] are elected by members for specified terms.Part VI Section A Line 7b: In accordance with the chapter bylaws,specified dues increases and certain amendments to the bylaws require the approval of chapter members.Part VI Section B Line 12, 13 & 14: As part of annual orientation for state association and local chapter officers and directors, state association's policies related to conflicts of interest and whistleblowers are reviewed as reference for local chapter guidelines. State association document rentention and destruction policy is used as reference for local chapter documents.
