    1 Early Learning Venture Fund: This is a shared services infrastructure for the early childhood education sector to promote effective governance, high standards of program quality, professional competence, operational efficiency, as well as financial sustainability. The objective is to strengthen overall business operations, and allow the child care providers to spend more time in the classroom. ELV provides support and oversight to its partners while continuing to research and develop the model and policies. This effort involves ELV staff providing technical assistance, business planning, and resource development. ELV is currently serving the Denver Metro Area, Summit County, Garfield County, Eagle County, Pitkin County, Mesa County, Telluride and surrounding counties, and the San Luis Valley. 712,078
    2 Healthy Options for Preschoolers: ELV is promoting and expanding access to healthy meals and snacks for preschool aged children who are enrolled in a child care program that is part of the ELV Alliance. Through its partnership with the Colorado Health Foundation, ELV plans to increase the number of children who eat adequate amounts of fruits and vegetables daily and increase the number of children who receive healthy meals in the center and home-base child care settings.
