Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 DURING 2013, THE BREMEN COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT (BCVFD) PROVIDED FIRE PROTECTION TO A RURAL AREA OF 60 SQ. MILES AND A POPULATION OF 3428. THE DEPARTMENT RESPONDED TO 59 REPORTS OF FIRE INCLUDING 12 STRUCTURE FIRES, 14 VEGETATION FIRES, 5 OUTSIDE RUBBISH FIRES, 4 SMOKE IN RESIDENCE, 3 VEHICLE FIRES, 7 REKINDLE FIRES, 1 ILLEGAL BURN, 2 CONTROLLED BURNS AND 1 TRANSFORMER FIRE. A TOTAL OF 10 FALSE ALARMS WERE REPORTED, WHICH WERE TYPICALLY SMOKE/FIRE ALARMS AND SMOKE SCARES.

29 IN PROVIDING ON SCENE BASIC LIFE SUPPORT AND RESCUE SERVICES, THE DEPARTMENT SERVED THE SAME AREA AS THAT GIVEN FIRE PROTECTION. THE BCVFD RESPONDED TO 225 MEDICAL EMERGENCIES, 16 MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENTS, 5 TREE DOWN/STORM RESPONSES AND 2 AMBULANCE SERVICE ASSISTS.
