| DESCRIPTION OF NEW SERVICES | FORM 990, PART III, LINE 2 The 2014 Go Bold With Butter campaign is a new program ABI undertook in 2013. Its goals and objectives are to: Maintain levels of positive consumer awareness for Butter; Foster increased Butter usage; and Increase consumer reach (audience) and engagement with campaign messaging. Its strategies are to: Engage a younger target audience that includes both men and women who enjoy cooking and baking; Develop content and messaging that encourages "everyday" cooking and baking with butter; Highlight product attributes the target audience values: creamy, real, delicious, fresh, natural and authentic; Utilize online advertising and social media to engage the audience; and Optimize tactics based on past performance metrics. |

Each active member company is entitled to one seat on the ABI Board of Directors, which is the governing body of the American Butter Institute. Associate Member - Any individual, firm, corporation, or other legal entity which supplies goods and services to the butter industry can become an associate member. Associate members are not entitled to a board seat.
