Form 990, Part III, Line 4d: Other Program Services Description
OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: Elderly Care - Provides in-home assessment to identify at risk seniors and then provided at home advocacy, monitoring and direct assistance programs to those seniors. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: Partner Abuse - Works with perpetrators of domestic violence to assist them in recognizing and understanding attitudes and behaviors that lead to violence directed at their intimate partners. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: Youth Program - Helps children ages 6-12 to achieve increased focus on expression through the arts and social and emotional skill building through programs such as recreation day camp in the summer and an after-school enrichment program during the school year. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 7: Attorney General Crime Victim - Assists victims of domestic violence and their minor children with shelter and obtaining orders of protection. Additionally, provides services including crisis intervention counseling, 24 hour crisis lines, individual issue counseling, information about the Automated Victim Notification System, and networking with community groups, social service agencies, and law enforcement organizations that provide additional services for the crime victim. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 8: Transitional Housing - Provides transitional housing for victims of crimes including sexual assault, domestic violence and dating violence programs. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 9: Work Study - Through the Employment Counseling office, the Organization offers a variety of services to assist individuals seeking employment. These services include resume and cover letter writing, interview skills, general job search techniques, job hunting in todays economy, and community referrals for ESL, GED, and Vocational training courses. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 10: Illinois Coalition for Immigration and Refugee Rights Programs - (ICIRR-IFRP/WIC) - Administers social service programs for providing outreach, counseling, interpretative and translation services for immigrant clients. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 11: United Way - Program funded by United Way to further the Organizations main goal of providing health and social services to better the well being of immigrants, low income individuals and victims of domestic violence. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 12: Other Community Programs - Various programs to assist immigrants, low income individuals and victims of domestic violence. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 13: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) - Enhances the provisions of primary care services in underserved urban and rural communities. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 14: Asian Health Coalition - Program with the goal to increase the number of insured individuals in Low English Proficiency (LEP) populations by training in-person counselors (IPCs) to educate their communities regarding the Affordable Care Act, to effectively navigate individuals through the Health Insurance Marketplace, and to assist these individuals in enrollment.
