Briefly describe the organization’s mission: NONPROFIT FINANCE FUND ("NFF") WORKS TO CREATE A MORE JUST AND VIBRANT SOCIETY BY SUPPORTING MISSION-DRIVEN ORGANIZATIONS (PRIMARILY NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS) WITH THE FINANCING, ADVICE AND KNOWLEDGE THAT HELPS THEM ACHIEVE THEIR (CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O) OBJECTIVES. THESE ORGANIZATIONS PROVIDE CRITICAL SERVICES TO COMMUNITIES AND THEIR RESIDENTS THUS CONTRIBUTING TO HEALTHY COMMUNITIES AND IMPROVED LIVES.

NFF IS HEADQUARTERED IN NEW YORK CITY AND SERVES CLIENTS NATIONALLY FROM FIVE OFFICES ACROSS THE COUNTRY. NFF PROVIDES FINANCING AND OTHER CAPITAL, ADVISORY SERVICES KNOWLEDGE AND FIELD BUILDING WORK. IN 2013, NFF PROVIDED $36 MILLION IN LOANS AND $46 MILLION OF TAX CREDIT SUPPORTED FINANCING IN ADDITION TO OVER $20 MILLION OF GRANT FUNDS.IN ADDITION,WE PROVIDED INDIVIDUALIZED ADVISORY SERVICES AND WORKSHOPS AND OTHER GROUP TRAININGS TO HUNDREDS OF NONPROFITS IN ALL SECTORS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY. WE ALSO PROVIDED SERVICES TO FOUNDATIONS AND GOVERNMENT AGENCIES TO HELP THEM STRUCTURE AND PROVIDE GRANT AND PROGRAM RELATED INVESTMENTS TO THEIR CONSTITUENTS. (CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O). LASTLY, WE PERFORMED RESEARCH AND ISSUED PUBLICATIONS AND ARTICLES THAT GATHERED AND DISSEMINATED INFORMATION AND DATA ABOUT THE NONPROFIT SECTOR, BEST PRACTICES AND NEW AND CREATIVE APPROACHES TO FINANCING AND IMPROVING THE FINANCIAL HEALTH OF THESE KEY ORGANIZATIONS. IN 2013, WE CONDUCTED AN ANNUAL SURVEY ABOUT THE STATE OF THE NONPROFIT SECTOR WITH MORE THAN 5,900 RESPONDENTS. WE ADVISED NONPROFITS, GOVERNMENTS AND OTHERS EXPLORING PAY FOR SUCCESS MODELS AND MAINTAINED A PAY FOR SUCCESS WEB SITE TO EDUCATE AND SHARE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS EVOLVING FINANCING TOOL.
