THE AMERICAN BASEBALL COACHES ASSOCIATION IS A NON-PROFIT PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION. ITS MAIN OBJECTIVE IS EDUCATIONAL IN NATURE TO IMPROVE THE LEVEL OF COACHING FROM COLLEGE, HIGH SCHOOL, AND YOUTH COACHES. THE "ABCA MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY" ON THE WEBSITE KEEPS MEMBERS FURTHER INFORMED OF BASEBALL RESOURCES. THE "COACHING DIGEST", CONVENTION DVD'S, THE WEBSITE LIBRARY, THE ABCA/HUMAN KINETICS BOOKS AND VIDEOS, ALL PROVIDE COACHING ENHANCEMENT MATERIALS. THE "ABCA PRESS BOX" KEEPS COACHES INVOLVED WITH WEEKLY BASEBALL ISSUES. OTHER INFORMATION AVAILABLE ON THE ABCA WEBSITE INCLUDE: CONVENTION AND MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION; JOB POSTINGS; SCHEDULING; INFORMATION ON ALL AWARDS; LATEST HEADLINES FROM AROUND BASEBALL; MEMBERSHIP DISCUSSION FORUMS; EXHIBIT INFORMATION; COMMITTEE AND MEMBERSHIP LISTINGS; POLLS AND SCORES; LEGISLATIVE ISSUES; PLUS MANY OTHER SERVICES TO OUR MEMBERS. THE ABCA PROVIDES A GRANT, AND THE COACHES CONTRIBUTE ARTICLES TO "COLLEGIATE BASEBALL NEWSPAPER". WITHOUT THIS GRANT, CBN COULD NOT REACH THIS LARGE AUDIENCE. THE ABCA RECEIVES ONE PAGE IN EVERY ISSUE THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO PROMOTE THEIR ORGANIZATION, SUCH AS CONVENTION OR MEMBERSHIP ADS AND ARTICLES OF CURRENT INTEREST.
