Part III Part III - Statement of Primary Purpose
Part III Teton Co-operative Canal Co. is an irrigation co-operative
Part III which distributes irrigation water to its members during the
Part III summer months for irrigating approximately 6,000 acres of
Part III farm and pasture land. Under normal operating procedures,
Part III the ditch riders turn on the flow of water to the
Part III stockholders according to the Board of Directors. Our
Part III normal operating season is from April 15th to October 15th each
Part III year. Water is divided among the stockholders according to
Part III how many shares each stockholder has. Regular assessments
Part III of $200.00 per share are assesed twice a year for normal
Part III operating expenses and a special asessment of at least $50
Part III per share once a year, which is put into a CD to be used to
Part III replace the outlet pipe out of the 5,500 acre feet reservoir. The
Part III outlet pipe out of the 5,500 acre feet reservoir. The
Part III reservoir was 70 years old and the Department of Natural
Part III Resources indicated that the pipe needed to be replaced which
Part III is being done in phases. Phase I was completed in 2012.
Part III Also, engineering inspections of the resevoir must be conducted
Part III every 5 years because the resevoir is at a higher elevation
Part III than the town of Choteau. The inspections must be made by an
Part III engineering firm to make sure the resevoir is safe. Many people
