Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Our chapter holds monthly chapter programs that enhance professional development on a broad range of HR topics. Our activities to reconsider our branding and revise chapter operations are allowing us to better meet our members' needs for professional development consistent with our fundamental mission. This year SW SHRM focused on increasing membership through a multi-pronged strategy and implementing various recruitment and marketing tactics. Marketing materials were created and disseminated through current members, local chamber of commerce, and small businesses. This helped to increase chapter membership by 6.5%. SW SHRM also worked to engage College students working towards degrees in human resources by inviting students to events and providing opportunities to engage within the chapter.
