Briefly describe the organization’s mission: The Trust is established for the purpose of holding and administering contributions in order to provide benefits to eligible Employees and their family members and beneficiares. The Trust shall provide only such life, sick, accident or other benefits to its Members as are permissible under Code Section 501(c)(9) and the Treasury Regulations thereunder. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, income maintenance payments in the event of economic dislocation, temporary living expense loans and grants at times of disaster (such as fire or flood), education or training benefits or courses, and such other benefits as are described in Treasury Regulation Section 1.501(c)(9)-3.
