What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Georgia Partnership for Economic Development (GPED) was created with the primary purpose of creating and enhancing economic development initiatives that lend itself to business development opportunities for the State of Georgia. GPED promotes all facets of economic development including business recruitment, retention and expansion within the State of Georgia, promoting Georgia tourism, and attracting international business relations with Georgia companies through various trade expositions.
