STATEMENT OF EXEMPTION FROM PROXY TAX	The Oregon Economic Development Association is described in 6033(e)(3) of the IRC. During the fiscal year, the organization incurred advocacy/lobbying expenditures, but the association is eligible for the special exemption presented in Revenue Procedure 98-19, 1998-7 I.R.B. 30. Over 90% of the organizations dues income is from organizations described in 501(c)(3), state governments, local governments, and entities whose income is exempt from tax under 115. Therefore, the organization is not liable to pay the proxy tax or file Schedule C.
