CARE INITIATIVES HAD 69,750 RECORDED VOLUNTEER HOURS IN 2013. THE AVERAGE VOLUNTEER WORKS ONE HOUR PER WEEK RESULTING IN A CALCULATED NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS OF 1,341. VOLUNTEERS MAINLY PROVIDE ENTERTAINMENT FOR, AND CONVERSE WITH, RESIDENTS.
