What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The VFW is a multi-purposed organization. We promote the social welfare of the community, assist needy and disabled veterans, widows, and ophans of deceased veterans, we provide entainment, care and assistance to hospitalized veterans or members of the Armed Forces. We perpetuate the memory of veterans and comfort their survivors. We sponsor and participate in patriotic activities. We provide social and recreational activities for our members. We provide educational information concerning War Veterans to the community at large.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
