What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The federation of women's clubs is dedicated to community improvement through volunteer service. We encourage women to improve their skills, expand their rights, and apply their abilities and special sensitivities to the problems and concerns in their communities.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Last year we gave out almost $20,000 in scholarships, HOBT awards and art awards to high school students in the Yorba Linda school district area. We sewed for the hospitals, put up bird sanctuary signs, participated in the Relay for Life fundraiser and the First Veterans affairs events, and contributed to Senior Serve. We always help many small charities along the way like adopting three families for the holidays by providing food and clothing for them, buying gifts for Smilemakers to help seniors in need, hosting a breast cancer survivors luncheon, and many more projects in the community. We are also active in helping battered women by supporting the shelters that help them.
