	The Chapter participated in the Illinois Statewide APA Payroll Conference held August 21-22, 2014.Chicago Chapter provides contract and financial management, obtains vendor support, arranges speakers for the various sessions, and provides events coverage during the conference. The conference provides expert speakers and a networking environment.An average of 100 payroll professionals attended.

The course for Fundamental Professional Certification (FPC) designation was provided in four full day sessions covering material for those seeking FPC designation and maintaining credentials.The Chapter hosted four continuing payroll education and networking meetings to provide professional development opportunities to our members.Average attendance for these professional meetings is 45 members. These meetings occurred throughout the year and covered Healthcare Reform-A look at the impact on payroll; payroll implications for Internation Mobile Indiviudals; make a difference through mentoring and enhancing your professionalism; and preparing for year end 2014.
