IT HOLDS ONE OF THE WORLD'S GREATEST COLLECTIONS OF HISTORICAL ARTIFACTS, AMERICAN ART, AND OTHER MATERIALS. THE MUSEUM'S COLLECTION HOLDINGS COMPRISE MORE THAN 1.6 MILLION WORKS.
