What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The purposes of the order are to: Enroll in its membership persons of Italian birth, descent or affiliations regardless of religious faith or political affiliation who believe in the fundamental concept that society is based upon principles of law and order. To promote the civic education among its members. To uphold the concept of Americanism. To encourage dissemination of Italian culture in the Untied States. Keep alive the spiritual attachments to the traditions of the land of our ancestors. Promote the moral, intellectual and material well being of our membership. Defend and uphold the prestige of the people of Italian birth, descent or affiliation in American. Encourage active participation of our membership in the civil and political life of our communities. Organize and establish benevolent and social welfare institutions for the protection and assistance of our members, their dependents, and the needy in general, with such material aid as we are able to give.
