Schedule D, part X, line 2	La Chaine is exempt from Federal income tax under the provisions of Section 501(c)(7) of the Internal Revenue Code. However, the income generated from investments is not directly related to La Chaine's tax-exempt purpose and is subject to taxation as unrelated business income. Respectively, it is included in income tax expense. La Chaine adopted the pronouncement related to income taxes effective July 1, 2009 and there were no uncertain tax positions at the date of adoption or at June 30, 2014. There are no open tax years prior to 2011. In addition, the organization has no income tax penalties or interest for the period reported.
