Briefly describe the organization’s mission: Citizen Action/Illinois has been organized and incorporated in the State of Illinois to promote and encourage the common good and general welfare of the people of the State of Illinois and of the United States of America. Furthermore, its purpose is to encourage consumer participation in local, state, and federal governments with respect to health and safety and to promote the public interest through social welfare and political advocacy.
