| Statement about strategic growth | The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is a community of people - designers, industry representatives, educators and students - committed to interior design. Through education, knowledge sharing, advocacy, community building and outreach, we strive to advance the interior design profession and, in the process, to demonstrate and celebrate the power of design to positively change people's lives. More than 25,000 members engage in a variety of professional programs and activities through a network of 48 chapters throughout the United States and Canada. ASID is making strategic investments in staff and market research to develop programs to expand its reach - and to diversify its revenue base. The organization's participation in the Clinton Global Initiative is just one example of the result of the investments made to date. Other examples include our newly launched program Design to Lead and the Impact Summit. ASID has also made strategic investments into its ICON magazine and its website infrastructure. Form 990, Part III, line 2 ASID is a participant in the Clinton global initiative. ASID is leading the collaborations of organizations to develop a set of protocols around health and wellness, resilient spaces, and sustainability. |
