In 2001, the credit union became a Community Charter credit union. Now, all businesses, individuals and their families who live, work, worship, or attend school in Stark County, OH are eligible to join. Friends and Family Credit Union is a full-service financial institution with over $67 million in assets and serving 7,821 members. The friendly staff is fully committed to servicing its membership. The members are owners of the credit union. Profits are returned to members in the form of higher interest on savings, lower interest rates on loans and lower service fees. Members also elect a volunteer Board of Directors that set the policies for the credit union.

	Member Loans - The Credit Union strives to provide its members with financial flexibility and encourage savings with various types of loans in the following categories: Automobile loans, Mortgage loans, Unsecured loans, Real Estate loans, and other various types. As of year end, the Credit Union had approximately 4,216 loans outstanding.

	Depository Accounts - The Credit Union strives to provide its members with financial flexibility and encourage savings with various types of depository accounts. The Credit Union currently offers depository accounts in varieties such as draft accounts, checking accounts, savings accounts, certificate of deposit accounts, individual retirement accounts, money market accounts, and other various types. As of the year end, the there were approximately 13,388 depository accounts held at the Credit Union.
