What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? TO PROMOTE AND DEVELOP THE GROWTH OF TENNIS IN THE STATE OF MONTANA.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 THE MONTANA TENNIS ASSOCIATION (MTA)PROMOTES AND DEVELOPS ADULT AND JUNIOR TENNIS COMPETITIONS THROUGH STATEWIDE TENNIS TRAINING PROGRAMS, EDUCATIONAL/SKILL WORKSHOPS, THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEAGUE PLAY, AND MULTIPLE SANCTIONED TOURNAMENTS.IN 2014, THE MONTANA TENNIS ASSOCIATION SERVED APPROXIMATELY 1,900 INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS, 17 REGISTERED COMMUNITY TENNIS ASSOCIATIONS AND 29 REGISTERED MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS. ADDITIONALLY, MTA WORKED WITH ROUGHLY 3,500 CHILDREN UNDER 10 YEARS OF AGE THROUGH THE "TENNIS IS ELEMENTARY", "PLAY DAYS" AND "KIDS CLUB" PROGRAMS. YOUTH GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE, TO MAKE THESE PROGRAMS ACCESSIBLE TO CHILDREN OF DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS.
