MR. JIMENEZ AND HIS WIFE ARE NOTED PERUVIAN RETABLO MAKERS WHO HAVE COLLABORATED WITH PATRICIA LA FARGE OVER A PERIOD OF AT LEAST 20 YEARS. THE FOUNDATION USED THE OPPORTUNITY OF HAVING MS. KANEKO IN SANTA FE TO RECORD INTERVIEWS WITH SELECTED AMERICANS INVOLVED WITH THE INTERNATIONAL FOLK ART MARKET AND QUE TENGA BUENA MANO (PATRICIA LA FARGE'S IMPORT BUSINESS). FILM FOOTAGE IS EXPLORATORY. THE CURRENT PLAN IS TO SELECT TWO OR THREE CLIPS FROM THE 2014 FOOTAGE AND HAVE IT EDITED FOR INCLUSION ON THE FOUNDATION WEBSITE. 5,459

THESE CATALOGUE ENTRIES ARE ACCESSIBLE TO LARGE-SCALE (E.G. UNIVERSITIES) SUBSCRIBERS TO OCLC (ONLINE COMPUTER LIBRARY CENTER). THE FOUNDATION ALSO SET UP AN ARCHIVE OF PATRICIA LA FARGES'S PAPERS. THE PROJECT ENTAILED GOING THROUGH 60 FILE BOXES OF MAGAZINES, NEWSLETTERS, BUSINESS AND PERSONAL CORRESPONDENCE, PERIODICAL CLIPPINGS, FLYERS, PAMPHLETS, PHOTOGRAPHS, AND CALENDARS TO ESTABLISH AN ALPHABETICAL INDEX TO A PHYSICAL (PAPER-BASED) COLLECTION. FOR NOW, THE ARCHIVE IS A PRIVATE RESOURCE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE FOUNDATION BOARD.
