What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The primary purpose of MSAE is to provide educational opportunities for its members, to provide an avenue for the exchange of ideas and information, and to provide its members with the resources they need to enhance performance and ensure continued professional growth.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Educational and Professional Opportunities: **Six Lunch & Learns with speakers including MS Secretary of State and Dr. Currier with MS Department of Health and professional development speakers in the areas of communications, disaster response/preparedness and leadership.** 2014 Mid-Year Conference in Bay St. Louis, MS with National and regional speakers on topics of organizational management, leadership and effective professional networking.** 2014 Joint Conference with Louisiana Society of Association Executives, in Natchez, MS. Featured speaker was Bob Harris, CAE who is a non-profit/association expert. Topics included Risk Management and Strategic Planning. In 2014, a change was made to report the Joint conference revenue on the accural basis. This change resulted in an increase in receivables and revenue of $7,692.

29 Publications & Communication: ** Connections: This quarterly magazine continues to offer valuable professional updates and articles from nationally recognized experts in the operation of trade/professional associations along with MSAE membership information and promotion and highlights of MSAE functions.** Executive Member Listserve: This email communication tool offers members a resource to ask for support or share suggestions as specific needs arise within a member association or individual professional.** MSAE Membership Directory: This valuable resource not only provides MSAE a financial opportunity to support the mission of the association, but serves as a convenient tool to access colleges and resources in conducting business and sharing of information. The directory is a member benefit which is shared with MSAE members and is also sent to all State Elected Officials in Mississippi, so they can have immediate access to contact information to the trade and business professions represented by MSAE members.**Supported Executive Director's and President's attendance at the American Society of Association Executives Annual Conference in Nashville, TN which offered a variety of professional education sessions and discussions to increase knowledge, skills and explore resources for MSAE members.**Supported Executive Director's attendance at the two Associated State Alliance (ASA) meetings and training day comprised of Executive staff from other state Societies of Associations. This meeting is beneficial to growth and operation of the society as these colleagues explore current trends and share information regarding best practices and fresh programming/networking ideas.

30 Charitable and Service Contributions:** MSAE supported the MS Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association by promoting its fundraising event. MSAE members volunteered about 20 hours and supported the set-up and execution of the event.** MS Agriculture & Forestry Museum Donations: This state museum suffered loss of structures, equipment and animals as a result of a fast spreading fire. MSAE collected donations from members at the holiday reception which were sent to the state agency overseeing the museum's restoration.
