Briefly describe the organization’s mission: To foster the Auburn spirit and make possible firsthand contact with Auburn University and its alumni throughout Jefferson County, Alabama, the State of Alabama, the nation, and the world; to provide the means whereby all Auburn alumni and the friends of Auburn in the geographic area of Jefferson County, Alabama may join together to further the "Auburn Spirit"; to support the activities of Auburn University towards the acheivement of its educational goals; to establish and promote goals and activities which strengthen the ties between the alumnus, the Corporation, the community, and Auburn University; to encourage support of athletic programs of Auburn University; and to encourage support by alumni and friends of Auburn for the Auburn Alumni Association to perpetuate the traditions, purposes, growth, and progress of Auburn University.
