PART III - LINE 1	The Union League Club (THE "CLUB") provides facilities for social, intellectual and athletic interaction amongst members, their families and guests. The Club was formed during the civil war to promote, encourage, and sustain absolute and unqualified loyalty to the government of the United States. The clubhouse contains dining and lounge facilities, a 15,000 volume library, art gallery, squash courts, a fitness center and overnight accommodations. The Club conducts a full series of speaker programs, art shows and entertainment activities. Part VI, Section A. - Question 6 The Club was formed as a membership organization.
PART VI, SECTION A. - QUESTION 7A	At a meeting in October the names of candidates for the nominating committee shall be presented to the members of the Club to be voted on by ballot. Each member may vote by ballot for no more than six persons on such list by marking off the names of others, if any and depositing it in the ballot box.
PART VI, SECTION A. - QUESTION 7B	Any amendment or addition to the by-laws shall require approval of the members as described in the by-laws.
PART VI, SECTION B. - QUESTION 11B	A copy of the Form 990 was e-mailed to each individual officer and board member prior to filing.
