| PART XII, LINE 1 - CHANGE IN ACCOUNTING METHOD: | The Local Union changed its method of accounting from the accrual method to the modified cash basis method. Management of the Local Union made this change as they believe the modified cash basis method provides more useful information to management in order to make day-to-day operational decisions. Under this change to the modified cash basis of accounting, revenue is recognized when received, rather than when earned, and expenses are recognized when paid rather than when the obligation is incurred. Exceptions to this are the related party notes and trade receivables, accruals incurred as a result of payroll processing, and health insurance premiums collected in advance but not remitted.
