THE ALICE LLOYD COLLEGE CHAPTER OF BAPTIST COLLEGIATE MINISTRIES (BCM) WAS ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS. STUDENT PARTICIPATED IN A DAY OF SERVICE AT THE EAST KENTUCKY VETERANS HOSPITAL, VISITED RESIDENTS, PARTICIPATED IN ACTIVITIES, AND PERFORMED VARIOUS MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES. BCM PARTICIPATED IN SAMARITAN'S PURSE DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON AND HOSTED THE KNOTT COUNTY RELAY CENTER IN WHICH ALL GIFTS FILLED SHOE BOXES THAT WERE DELIVERED TO THE NEEDY. BCM PERFORMED VOLUNTEER SERVICES AT THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE OF THE BLUEGRASS ASSISTING WITH MEAL PREPARATION AND VOLUNTEERED AT THE LOCAL HOMELESS SHELTER. STUDENTS ALSO VOLUNTEERED TO PERFORM CUSTODIAL SERVICES AT THE LOCAL SUBSTANCE ABUSE CENTER.
