Changes to Organizing or Governing Documents The Executive Board of the International Union formed the Administrative District Council (ADC), effective 2/1/14. The newly created ADC will be headquartered in Seattle, WA and its jurisdiction will include Local 1 of Alaska. ADC will handle all administrative functions of the affiliated local unions, including, but not limited to; dues collections, record-keeping, report filings, disbursements, and contract enforcement. Local 1 of Alaska will remain intact as a politically autonomous organization and will continue to conduct local union meetings and to otherwise serve as a focal point for communications between members and with the IUBAC generally.
