| Client Note 1 | Client Note 1 - Note 1 - Other Changes in Net Assets (990, Part XI, Line 9)In prior years, SBACs form 990 included the financial activities of its related separate segregated fund for legislative action, SBAC PAC. In January 2014, SBAC PAC entered into a stipulated civil judgment and agreement with the California Fair Political Practices Commission, whereby SBAC PAC was closed; as a result, the SBAC PAC organization was terminated, and its related bank account was closed with a zero balance. SBAC PAC incurred a loan liability in 2012 of $10,000,000, which was combined in the form 990 of SBAC in years 2012 and 2013. However, because SBAC PAC was terminated in 2014 with zero assets, SBACs 2014 form 990 eliminated the acitivites of SBAC PAC, including an adjustment in 2014 to net assets of $10,000,000. |
