These events include a parade in June which celebrates the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender culture. The Pride Parade, which includes over four hundred thousand (400,000) parade spectators and participants, has auxiliary events that serve to build anticipation of this upcoming event. For year ending July 31, 2014 these auxiliary events included Seattle Pride Idol, Pride Picnic, and Pride Brunch.
