Explanation:

The KAH Credit Union is a small credit union that provides a limited range of financial services, mostly whom are employees of Keokuk Area Hospital. The Board of Directors consists of volunteers who commit their time and talents to the credit union. Within the past two years the Credit Union has undergone significant change. The manager for the credit union who was employed here for over 25 years retired, leaving a big gap in the processes and knowledge of the credit union. The board itself has also undergone significant turnover. We also had another change of management just within the last two months. While we have seen significant improvement this year, missing the filing deadline for the 990 was an oversight and we apologize for the error. We are working on a system to help prevent these errors again.
