Explanation:
This is an entirely volunteer run organization. There was a new Treasurer (Mette Earlywine) during the Jul 2014 - Jun 2015 school year, and she did not fully understand the time frame for which she was responsible for filing a return. She believed she needed to file a return for the 2014 - 2015 school year (which would be due upon completion of her term as treasurer). She has now completed the overdue return covering the Jul 2013 - Jun 2014 school year, and respectfully requests a waiver of the late fee as the error was due to misunderstanding and not malfeasance. She has also informed the incoming Treasurer of the filing time frames, so hopefully this mistake will not be repeated.
