What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To promote the professional and commercial welfare of the area set forth and that of the professional and business men and women. Encourage efficiency and high ethical standards in business and profession. Be nonpartisan, nonsectarian, non-discriminatory with regard to membership lend support to issues affecting the area served but not to candidates seeking public office. Continue endeavors to make the area an outstanding community in which to work and live. In addition, the non-profit organization will distribute grants to universities for charitable purposes from the San Diego Foundation Charles and Ardel Hamilton Scholarship fund.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.

Form 990-EZ, General Explanation.1 The Charles & Ardel Hamilton Scholarship Fund The balance sheet was amended. The Charles & Ardel Hamilton Scholarship fund balance of $180,912 reported in other assets of the balance sheet in the original return was deleted. The Bonita Business & Professional Association (BBPA) established the scholarship fund with assets received from the Hamiltons in 1990. The BBPA donated the fund to the San Diego Foundation a portion in 1990 and the rest in 1991. The fund fair market value on 12/21/1990 and 1/22/1991 was $48,835 and $49,050, respectively. The BBBPA was responsible for marketing the scholarship and selecting the receipts. By error all these past years, the scholarship fund was reported as an asset of the BBPA. Attached is a donation confirmation letter from the San Foundation. The grants of $4,250 reported on line 10 of the expenses section was deleted due to the correction.
