Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 6	There are two membership categories: Professional Membership and Limited Membership. Members in the Professional Membership Category have access to all member benefits and services provided by the Association. The following are Professional Member Classifications: Active, Student, Honorary, Life, Special, and Federal Services. Limited Members (E-Members) shall not take part in any governance of the Association, and shall not have the privilege to vote, hold elective or appointed office, or serve on a council or committee.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a	Members nominate district trustees and delegates. Voting is held at the annual session and the results are reviewed by the nominating subcommittees.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7b	The Board of trustees motion for significant decision. Approval of the decisions is finalized during annual sessions by the House of Delegates.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11	The Accounting Manager and Executive Director reviewed the 990 prior to filing.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c	The Association annually reviews and updates its conflict of interest forms.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15	The Board President makes recommendations to the Executive Committee for the Executive Director's compensation. The Committee sends a proposal to the Board of Trustees. Compensation is compared to the change in the Consumer Price Index and adjusted for inflation.
Form 990, Part VI, Section C, line 19	ADAA makes its governing documents, financial statements, and conflict of interest policy available upon request.
