Briefly describe the organization’s mission: The Ham Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is organized to advance the general welfare and prosperity of the Ham Lake Area so that its citizens and all areas of its business community shall prosper. All necessary means of promotion shall be provided and particular attention and emphasis shall be given to the economic, civic, commercial, cultural, industrial and educational interests of the area.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 6	Individuals, associations, corporations, parnerships or estates with a business purpose in Ham Lake or its trade area or interested in the city's commerce, may be eligible to become a member of the Ham Lake Chamber of Commerce by making an application and paying annual dues.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a	Chamber members as well as the Board of Director's nomimating committee shall nominate candidates to serve on the Board of Directors. All members vote to determine who is elected to the Board to fill any open positions.
