    1 General Operations - Planning, Exhibit Design, Collection Assembly and Building Construction: Most of MMGM's activities throughout 2014 continued to be museum planning activities. Building construction continued, and again, collection assembly was ongoing throughout the year. 418,128
    2 Education: MMGM continued hosting school groups in 2014, providing educational, hands-on tours of the historic Bumpus Mine in Albany, near Bethel, Maine. Bumpus tours have been the flagship event of MMGM's educational tours. The museum assembled an educational advisory committee in 2012, which began meeting on a bi-monthly basis. The mission of the group is to ensure that once fully operational, the museum will meet standardized curriculum requirements ranging from early earth sciences up through levels of higher education. 1,412
