What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The purpose of the Chapter is to promote and perpetuate the highest standards of performance in the military comptrollership. Specifically, to Promote, support, and encourage the education, training, and certification of Chapter members. Promote and support the development and advancement of the profession of military comptrollership. Encourage a free exchange of techniques, approaches, and problem solving information. Provide a forum to keep the members and other interested individuals abreast of current events in military comptrollership, which can be beneficial to them, their employing organizations, and the public. Promote community service.

At the conclusion of our Fiscal Year, our books are audited by the Chapter Auditor. This is completed before the tax return is filed. All the positions in our organization are voluntary and the work is done around other personal and professional obligations. As soon as I got the books back, I started working with the budget officer and the Chapter President to complete the return.
