Members or stockholder classes and rights Part VI line 6	Each member of the Tuscaloosa firefighters benefit fund has the same rights and privileges as any other member. Annually the fund has a meeting where any member can be nominated for any officer position and as a member of the board of directors. Each member is entitled to the same benefits as every other member. There is only one class of member, everyone is the same.
Member election for additional members Part VI line 7a	The governing board of the fund is elected on an annual basis. Nominations are made by the general membership and then candidates are voted on by the members. Each member has the same voting rights as any other member. Each member is eligible to be nominated for the board. If a vacancy arises prior to the year end a special election is held to fill the vacancy. All members are eligible to fill the vacated position and all members have the right to vote.
Governing body decisions Part VI line 7b	The board of the fund will make decisions related to the daily operation of the benefit fund. However, when changes in the bylaws or rules of the fund are to be updated or changed then a vote of the general membership is required. All members hold the same rights as any other member of the fund.
