THE COMMITTEE ENGAGED AN OUTSIDE COUNSEL FOR THE CONTRACT, SUPPLEMENTAL RETIREMENT BENEFIT, AND SALARY REVIEW. THE COMMITTEE REVIEWED COMPARATIVE DATA PROVIDED BY OUTSIDE COUNSEL. THE COMMITTEE BROUGHT ITS RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE BOARD FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL. THE VICE PRESIDENTS' (OTHER OFFICERS) COMPENSATION WAS ALSO REVIEWED BY THE PRESIDENT/CEO. HE REVIEWED OUTSIDE COUNSEL DATA AND UTILIZED A REGRESSION THAT PROJECTED MEDIAN COMPENSATION FOR GOODWILL EXECUTIVES. (COMPARISON GOODWILL EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION WAS OBTAINED FROM GOODWILL INTERNATIONAL MEMBER SERVICES.) THE RECOMMENDED SALARIES WERE PRESENTED TO THE COMPENSATION COMMITTEE.
