THESE WERE ON THE SHAKESPEARE BIRTHPLACE TRUST'S NORMAL COMMERCIAL TERMS. THE BALANCE OWED AT THE END OF THE YEAR WAS $72,499. MAVERICK TELEVISION LIMITED IS CONTROLLED BY FUNDS ADVISED BY PERMIRA HOLDINGS OF WHICH DAMON BUFFINI IS A PARTNER. MAVERICK TELEVISION LIMITED RECEIVED $0 FOR THE CREATION AND DELIVERY OF AUDIO/VISUAL CONTENT FOR TEACHING SHAKESPEARE LLP. THIS WAS ON NORMAL COMMERCIAL TERMS. DAVID TENNANT WAS ENGAGED AS A MEMBER OF THE ACTING COMPANY DURING THE YEAR ON NORMAL COMMERCIAL TERMS AND RECEIVED GROSS REMUNERATION TOTALLING $42,072. ANTONY SHER, THE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR'S PARTNER, WAS ENGAGED AS A MEMBER OF THE ACTING COMPANY DURING THE YEAR ON NORMAL COMMERCIAL TERMS AND RECEIVED GROSS REMUNERATION TOTALLING $26,175. A PROPORTION OF THE INDEMNITY INSURANCE INCLUDED IN GOVERNANCE COSTS EQUATING TO $4,608 COVERS BOARD MEMBERS. THE CHARITY COMMISSION HAVE INDICATED THEIR APPROVAL OF THIS TRANSACTION.
