What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? THE DISTRICT MANAGEMENT CORPORATION WAS CREATED TO ASSIST THE BOROUGH IN PROMOTING ECONOMIC GROWTH AND GENERAL WELFARE, BY PROVIDING SERVICES TO BENEFIT BUSINESSES, EMPLOYEES, AND CONSUMERS IN THE DISTRICT, BY INSTITUTING SELF-HELP PROGRAMS TO ENHANCE THE LOCAL BUSINESS CLIMATE. ALSO BY PROVIDING A SAFER AND CLEANER ENVIRONMENT WITHIN THE BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, IT WILL ATTRACT NEW BUSINESSES.
