Heartland Foundation has a vision to inspire people world-wide to build healthy and thriving communities. The organization's mission is to champion education and empower people. Through various programs and activities, the Foundation serves as a catalyst and convener to draw people from different walks of life together to focus on creating stronger, more vibrant communities. Some of the activities included in the organization's agenda include: - Healthy Communities, a more than two decade effort, which focuses on igniting a movement to build educational attainment levels and inspire people to become active, engaged citizens.
